| I know that New Millenium English is used in schools. I have heard teachers say that the textbook isn't that good. The topicsa and materials seem to be OK, but the language skills focus leaves much to be desired. Does anybody of you use this textbook? What's your opinion?

| I've seen the book and don't like it at all. foreign books have few good texts. They prefer to train only speaking but not writing and reading.

| I used this textbook in my teaching and I'd like to say that it's not good for schools. Maybe to use some materials from this book is useful, but there are no good exercises for Grammar, the tests are rather difficult and they don't control pupils' knowledge at all. Though there are some interesting texts for reading and discussion.

| I used only "Millie Starter" in the 1st form. The topics are interesting and the words are up-to-date. As for exercises they are very peculiar and develop children's mentality ,not only language skills. There are a lot of tuny songs, tongue-twisters etc. Besides ,its computer programme and interactive exercises help a lot. Some of my colleagues say that it is difficult to teach reading because they start with a word not a syllable.
