This is a third programme in the big BBC series titled 'Who on Earth Are We?' The programme is called 'Language and Culture'. It is a perfect choice for practising listening comprehension skills for the Unified State Exam. The main focus in the radio programmes is on culture and inter-cultural communication. In this programme Marc Beeby looks at language and culture. He explains those building-blocks of culture which help give a culture and its people their character. He explores a lot of cultural differences expressed through language. Each programmes has two files - a MP3 file and a pdf file with the script. Programme 3 - Language and Culture?
