The Educational Centre 'ADDITONE' is starting a new More Electronic Teaching Resources project.

The project tasks include the following steps:

a) the teaching community prepare classroom materials that proved to be effective, interesting, modern;

b) the materials are copied on a CD or a flashcard. The developer brings the materials to Sennaya 8, office 24 (Victor Kruchkov)

c) developers upload their materials on this site into the approriate section or sent to my email account - v.kruchkov@rsu.edu.ru

I want to launch a new project for school students who learn English and want to improve their language level. A few preliminary details are:
- The tentative name of the project is 'Learn to Speak for Success'.
- This project will start in the new school year or at the end of this school year.
- The aim is to create conditions for imporving Speaking Skills and setting up a local English Speaking Workshop, in which volunteers and participants can communicate face-to-face, 'share' their language skills, 'cross-train' each other and motivate others.
- Trainings sessions are held on a weekly basis.
- The main venue can be any of the city schools or my centre.
- Training in the ESW will be either free or for minimal fees (e.g. 100 rubles per session).
- The ESW trainers are acting teachers, University students, native speakers.

Saturday, 12 March hosted the First Phonetic Contest for School Students. The event took place in School 51 in Dashkovo-Pesochnya. It started at 10.00 and ended at about 2 30 p.m.  The Contest was a joint project of the Municipal Information Assessment Centre and the Educational Centre 'Additone'.
There were three main events in the contest:
1) Hometask - reading a poem or a piece of prose
2) News Broadcast
3) Best TV Show Host - a brief talk in front of the camcorder 
We had a bit over 40 participants from 16 schools. This event was the final one. Before that city schools were recommended to make preliminary selection in their quarters and chose the best candidates for the Final Event. I hope all of the participants liked the contest.

If you are registered at the TeacherVoice site, Follow these instructions:

1) Go to www.ucoz.ru 

2) DO NOT GO TO THE 'REGISTRATION'!

3) In the top control bar find the button 'ВХОД' on the right and click on it.

4) You will see a new little window. In the first line you will see uNet Click on this word and you will see a log-in form.
