 Dear Netter! The RTEOC Second Seminar went well. As it had been planned, the seminar aimed at learning to use Forums for professional and personal needs. We learned to read Forum postings, to write replies, to start new topics (threads). All of these are an important tool to facilitate teaching English at schools. The first important condition was to understand and feel the idea of a living English Language Forum. We hope we have managed to achieve the aim of the seminar. It's a pity that fewer people came and we hope that you will brief your colleagues on the results of the seminar so that they join our online discussions.

Dear Colleagues! We are happy to say that we have started the BANK OF LESSON PLANS section. These will be classroom 
materials that we have used with our University students. We think, though, that our teaching ideas will be of great help for you. If any of the procedures, tasks, activities, texts work well or seem to be problematic, we will be happy to discuss these matters in the Forum under the same name - BANK OF LESSON PLANS.

 Dear Netters! We have launched the FORUM section. In it you will find many forums that were started in response to your querries and suggestions. Time will show which of them are good and necessary and which should be removed. Nevertheless, it's a good starting point for many of us. You are all welcome to chat online. If you think that there should be some other Forums, please let us know the topic and we will start it.

 Dear Netters! We have activated the FORUM section and are inviting you all to use it for everyday communication and work. Do the following:
1) Go to the FORUM in the site menu, choose any category you seem to be interested in, click on any FORUM topic, read the titles under each forum name, click and read the postings.
2) If you want to reply, click the 'Reply' icon, write your message, click 'post'. Your message can contain questions, comments, stories or personal impressions.
3) When you decide to write, make sure that the content of your message relates to the topic.

Dear Netters! Be more active! Learn to spend at least twenty minutes a day. 
You will see that the TeacherVoice website is a living environment. We encourage you to write more.
Think about your pupils and their view of you.
Give them a chance to use English for real purposes.

Dear Netters!
The first seminar held yesterday at school 51 (Ryazan) went well. Twenty seven teachers attended the first session and leart how to open their own email accounts and get registered at forums and Internet sites in order to interact with other users. We also explored the new web site TeacherVoice for our online community. We received a positive reaction to the concept of the web site and its sections. There is definitely good understanding of the aims and tasks of our online project among the participants. We also agreed on some "homework" to be done regularly so that by the end of the school year everyone will have completed their individual Internet projects.
