Hi, Everyone! Our fifth seminar was a success as well. We had a long interactive lecture on how to start your own website at http://www.ucoz.ru We have learnt the main steps to take to start your own website. I believe you have internalized all the necessary details and can now try it at your own ease. We suggest that you don't put in the wastebasket but start right now. Our next seminar is planned some time in May, we'll inform you a little later. Meanwhile, look through the following ideas for your homwwork and projects. 

Project 1: A group's website - registration, name, any design, main slogan, aims and tasks, site menu, rubrics, main users, forums and threads, first messages in forums and other sections.

Project 2: A group's weblog - name, basic design, main slogan, aims and tasks, menu, first messages.

Project 3: A review of an EFL Internet site or sights - name, URL, description of the structure, major options, available materials, ways of usage, recommendations for classroom use, examples of classroom use, etc.

Project 4: A few lessons (3-5) posted on the TeacherVoice site - downloaded files in Bank of Lesson Plans in different formats such as MS Word file, Power Point Presentation

Project 5: A Review of CD ROMs and other multimedia products for English Teaching - a text of the review, examples of classroom use, place int he syllubus, recommendations for use

Project 6: An Annotated List (10-15) of Internet Site for EFL Teaching - names, URLs, concept, structure, language/cultural focus, recommendations for use, examples of classroom use.

Project 7: An experience-based article - a MS Word text of about 7-15 pages describing the theory and practical experience of using Internet Resources and Services in Teaching English to school children; special attention to your own experience of using Internet resources and services.

Project 8: A Telecommunication Project - a Power Point Presentation of a Telecommunication Project that you have carried out recently; description, name, participants, aims and goals, duration, activities, outcomes and results.

Guys! These are just a few basic project types for our last seminar in May. Choose any one. A project can be done individually, in pairs or in groups. If you think that you have some other ideas for projects, feel free to start it but, please, send us a message with your choice. You can do the projects either in English or Russian. 

These starting projects can be later used as a basis for your research works and the Higher Accreditation Degree.
