Dear colleagues! We are all very pleased to say that our third seminar was a success.
We managed to convince oursleves that online communication in English is a crucial strategy for teachers of English to maintain and improve their communicative competence.
Another thing that we all accept is that online interaction is an effective way towards new professional hights and horizons.
We also think that you share our conviction that your participation should be active and varied.
When we say we need changes, we need to understand that we ourselves can start up these changes and make our pilot projects a new domain of Teacher Development.
We have already started these changes together and we are already chaning teaching culture in our city! It's a Victory!
And it happened yesterday in school 51 when we saw each other and shared common thirst for knowledge and interaction.
New members arrived and joined our community.
Now we are all Agents of School Change!
Back to business. Our next seminar is scheduled on February 25 in School 51 at 16.00.
Now, a few words about your homework:
1) A least ten messages in the Forums.
2) One Internet site from every member in the Useful Links and Resources section.
3) One piece of news for the News Page.
4) Prepare one photo (any) and save it on a flash card or a DVD disk and bring it to the next seminar.
I feel sorry for deleting some of the news posts that you made yesterday at the seminar for training purposes. Please, don't grumble at me! OK?
Now, one request - Could anybody bring a digital camera or a camcorder to our next seminar?
I think we should take some snapshots of our seminars and make a few videos of our work. Then we will post some of these on the site.
Then we will start doing a Joint Online Interschool Telecommunication Project called "Teachers of English - Teachers of Change".
Meanwhile we can start brainstorming ideas and opinions on the project.
