Dear Colleagues and Course Participants! Our next seminar is scheduled on December 23, 2010.
We are all meeting at 4 p.m. in school 51, as usual. This time
1) We will look into how to add new entries to the News Page, to the Links and Resources page, to the Blogs, to the Guestbook page.
2) We will also learn to create and moderate threads.
3) We will spend some time surfing the Net for more EFL sites
4) We will learn to insert photos and pictures into your messages. Please, have with you a flash card with a few pictures.
5) A brief talk about how to start forum discussions on the topics in school EFL syllubi.
We will also have a short roundtable discussion at the start of the seminar. The main questions are:
- How can you start using these technologies in your schools?
- What kind of assistance do you think is necessary?
- How can we best incorporate Website-based communication into current teaching programmes?
