This is a new article written by Galina Korzan, a teacher in school 21, Ryazan. The article was published in the newspaper 'Pervoye Sentyabrya' in 2010. The author explores the issues of using online resources in teaching English to school children. |
The author looks into how to incorporate Web 3.0 strategies into everyday EFL teaching practice. Web 3.0 is viewed as a platform for creating semantic webs and logical ties in the information network of the site. Since learners operate and produce a lot of information on the site and store it under different headings and in different sections, they actually create their own semantic web of knowledge and links that help them navigate the created knowledge in and beyond the site.
